Cancale, a beautiful town on the oposite edge of the bay of Mont Saint Michelle, hosted the Discovery Bus on the last day of the French tour before heading to Rennes where the CCC Mobile exhibition would spend its last weekend in France.

More than 140 pupils and their teachers of year 4,  5 and 6 from the Primary Schools Saint Joseph and Terres Neuva, enjoyed the CCC Mobile exhibition and its workshops which were about climate change at the end of the Paleolitic and the techniques used by archaeologists to excavate on land and underwater.

All the teachers were pleased about how the Discovery Bus was able to motivate their pupils about history and heritage, which was, according to them, not easy to reach in a classroom.

In the evening the Discovery Bus was on the road again headingfor  Rennes, the capital city of Britanny to attend the Festival of Archaeology..
