The CCC's Mobile exhibition, the Maritime Bus, was invited by the Department of Archaeology of the University of Southampton, to attend the Festival of Archaeology on the 11th of July 2015. Many hands-on activities related to all the differnt specialities of the archaeology were organized on that day to make  general public to discover and enjoy about what archaeologists do and how we study and protect Heritage.

General Public, Students and Academics visited the Discovery Bus and learnt more about the long-term cultural and social connexions between the three partner countries, looking at evidence from the Palleolithic, Mesolithic, Neolithic, Bronze Age and Iron Age.

The  CCC project focus on an under-represented aspect of our shared heritage: archaeological evidence from coastal and marine sites. It is for this reason that it was a high honor to had been invited by one of the leading institutions in Archaeology in the World and being parked in front of the world leading research centre in Maritime Archaeology, the Centre for Maritime Archaeology of the University of Southampton.
